QUESTIONS QUESTIONS QUESTIONS...

NO MORE MAIL AFTER NOVEMBER 1ST. Is this really real? Has it been almost a year? Does this mean that it is getting closer to time for our soldiers to come home? Will they be home before Christmas? Who knows...I have so many questions, but can't seem to find anyone with answers. We have been given a date to stop sending mail to our soldiers. We have been told that they will give them a 72 hour notice of when they will leave the sand. I am not going to get my hopes up just yet, only to be let down.

With November 1st being the last date that we can mail packages, looks like I will spend the weekend looking for snacks to hold him over until they head home. Michael has assured me that he needs nothing, but nothing is not going to work this time.

As I look back over the last 14 months, I find myself trying to remember how we did it without really breaking. The first six months were not too bad, as they were at Camp Shelby, which is only a little less than two hours from home. Once December came around it finally hit me I guess, that cold January night when we carried him back to Camp Shelby, for what we thought was good-bye. I think that we said good-bye like three or four different times before he actually left.

I CAN FINALLY SAY THAT I ACTUALLY THINK THAT I SEE THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL.

Counting the days until he is home...

Mail stop dates ARE a good sign!! :) You may find yourself going through care package withdrawal as I did when Brian's date was announced...didn't like the effect of withdrawal so I just started sending packages to anyone and everyone else. :)

I will be anxiously awaiting his arrival home for you! I remember the excitement, anxiety and all those X's on the calendar. :)
