KATY IS BACK WITH SPF...

I know that it is SPF, but I can not post without talking about a very important project. PROJECT VALOUR-IT. If you have not made your donation, please do so, but if you need a motivator, just go read CPT Chuck's blog. What an inspiration. Chuck (a partner in the project who suffered hand wounds while serving in Iraq) and his wife Caron met the Secretary of the Army, Dr. Fran Harvey yesterday. Chuck told Dr. Harvey that either the Army or the Department of Defense should support this project, and Dr. Harvey said he would look into it further. Thanks Chuck and Caron, you two continue to be in our thoughts and prayers daily.

Project Valour-IT, in memory of SFC William V. Ziegenfuss, provides voice-controlled software and laptop computers to wounded Soldiers of all branches of the military recovering from hand and arm injuries or amputations at major military medical centers. These laptops are operated by speaking into a microphone and our wounded heroes are able to send and receive messages from family and friends, and even continue blogging. So please help us make a difference. Make a donation today.

Now that I have gotten the most important things out of the way, Katy is back, so that means Self Portrait Friday has resumed. Glad you are back Katy. The theme for today is exhaustion. Well everyday is an exhausting day for me here lately, and will continue until our Soldier is back home for good.

The cat can not be exhausted, as she does absolutely nothing all day long, but meow when she wants her fancy feast. I can't wait until Michael comes home to take care of this spoiled cat. Sorry Michael, we did not mean to spoil her that much. I really am exhausted after a long day at work, and then another several hours sitting in a classroom listening to an instructor trying to lecture on Bankruptcy, which he knows absolutely nothing about.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

WE MISS YOU MICHAEL. STAY SAFE.

yeah cats have the life!!! I don't like teachers who teach a subject that they know nothing about. You, Marcus, and Michael are always in my prayers! I love you all!

Michael seems like a great guy. I'll pray for his safety, and for your family.

I do enjoy seeing pictures of Iraq.
