PRESIDENT BUSH VISITING JACKSON, MS
President George W. Bush is in Mississippi today for a private fundraiser for Senator Roger Wicker. Air Force One landed shortly after 11:30 Tuesday morning. Shortly after landing The President's motorcade made its way to the Eastover neighborhood for the $1000 a plate fundraiser.
While the motorcade was in route Interstate 20 and Interstate 55 was shutdown.
Senator Roger Wicker was appointed to the seat vacated by former Senator Trent Lott. Wicker is up for election in November. He faces former Governor Ronnie Musgrove in the November election.
