Arrival Day 02/07/05

Finally...He has made it to his final destination safely(we still have no clue where that is). The condition of the camp is not as nice as the last six stops that he has been at. His living quarters will be in a tent, until they move some more portable living quarters in.

Finance and the PX (store) only come around once a month, so he will need to make sure that he buys plenty of toiletries and whatever else he needs. Sure is different than being able to just run to Wal-Mart whenever you need something. That will take some getting use to for him. It is taking 3-4 weeks to get packages from the US right now. He sais that there is plenty of phones, and he did not have to wait in line. I am sure that will change as soon as the rest of the troops arrive. The internet cost $2.00 hour, and he said that the lines were really long today.
