Change

Some don't like a change, but hopefully this one is for the better/safer. I received a short email from him early this morning saying that he had made it to his new destination. He did not have much time, as he was going to "set up shop".

Just when I had his address memorized it changes. I hear that this camp is much safer, so that makes me feel a little better. He says that he should get his mail much faster now, as all the mail comes into this location first. I sure hope all that mail that was mailed prior to today will somehow find its way to him. Everyone was sending him birthday cards and packages. He has received all of my packages that I had sent prior to today except one. No big deal if he never sees that one, as all it has in it is chocolate candy...

Stacy, Glad he's made it to a safer base. Maybe an extra 10 winks of sleep tonight? They do forward the mail around, so he should get old mail even if it's a few days later... I've started sending "kiddie" toys -- bubble blowing machines, squirt guns (it's getting hot there!), water balloons, nerf balls... even balso wood air planes to fly! Anything to make them laugh!

Thanks for letting me know about the missing comments... Not sure how I managed it, but I accidentally turned the comments "off"... they are back "on"! Thanks.
