BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT EVER

At approximately 10:15 am this morning 4 chartered busses pulled through the South Gate at Camp Shelby with 204 soldiers on board. They first had to turn in their weapons and were then debriefed for approximately 1 hour. At exactly 12:18 p.m. the busses were pulling up at the holding area where they had the family members patiently waiting for their arrival.

We then left Camp Shelby and headed to my parents house two hours away to surprise them. When Michael walked through that door, all I could see were smiles and tears. What a great Christmas present for everyone. I will post more pictures tomorrow when we have had time to get some much needed rest.

MERRY CHRISTMAS...

This was a great present for me too! Those are wonderful pics - how neat that you were able to meet him like that! I love how all the families are just waiting as the bus pulls up - the opposite of how it was when they left. I can't imagine how good it feels to know that Michael is now home for good!! Enjoy this very wonderful Christmas with your very wonderful son!

Without a doubt the best Christmas present a mom could get. Please tell your son how very Proud we all are of he and his fellow soldiers and that we are glad he is home safely.
