BASKETBALL SEASON IS FINALLY OVER

I think my neice was very glad that the season was finally over. Not sure this is her game. They are just way too cute at 6 years old. By the time the second game was half way through, she had had enough and came into the stands where we were and she had to be bribbed into going back down and joining the rest of the team for the remainder of the game. Amazing what the words "You are not going to Wal-Mart if you don't go back down there and finish playing" will do to a 6 year old. Those words did the trick for her. Not sure that basketball is for her. I think she would rather be in dancing, since that is what she did most of the game.

They were cute, and had fun, and that is all that matters. Some parents really take it way too serious for me. They don't let the kids just be kids anymore. Some parents were hollering for their kids to fight for the ball and to knock other kids out of their way. That puts a lot of stress on the kids if you ask me. You could hear them fussing at the kids and they were trying to coach from the stands.

It's way too cold in the South to do anything besides stay inside, so I will spend the day in teh kitchen cooking.
