TALK ABOUT SOME COLD CHILLS...
The Mississippi Patriot Guard was back at it again this morning sending off the 1st Battalion, 185th Aviation, Task Force Griffin in Jackson, and what a send off if was. They had no clue that we were going to be out supporting them this morning, and when they topped the hill on the North side of Jackson, all you could see was this huge american flag and motorcycles along side the Interstate. It was awesome, you would have had to have been there. As the bus passed by you could see hands up in the air and they were all waving. We immediately got on the phone with the Commander and he says that they were all hooting and hollering. That was not the end.
Then at approximately 10:00 we had the honor of being able to hold that huge flag up once again for these Blackhawks. They flew directly over our heads, and they were low. Great feeling. Horns honking and these fine Blackhawks flying just above us.
Stay safe Task Force Griffin and thanks for serving your country. Talk about some cold chills.

too kewl. I love them flyboys -- especially the ons that fly whirlybirds ;-) liked 'em so much, I married me one! Nice job MS PGR!
This is so awesome. I am in the PGR too. But, I have limited means to get to many things right now. I went to one home coming. My heart was in my throat the whole time. We had one event canceled [by the military] because they were afraid of protesters. Can't say I blame them.
I so admire how much you do for our troops. God Bless you!
