Rest in peace Sergeant First Class Barnes.
It was a long day for the Patriot Guard Riders. What a wonderful group to be a member of. This was the first time the city of Brookhaven's Police Department had any dealings with the Patriot Guard Riders, and the Chief and Captain were both very impressed and expressed their appreciation to us all. They had never heard of the Patriot Guard Riders until this past week. We had a good turnout to show SFC Barnes's family how much we appreciate his service to our country.

My prayers go out to SFC Barnes' family.
Although I hate to see funerals, I am always so glad to see the PGR there. I salute them.
