Parades, Puppies and Basketball

The day started out with me leaving the house at 0600 and meeting up with my fellow Patriot Guard Riders so that we could participate in the Dixie National Rodeo Parade. I actually rode on the back of a friend's bike. I'm getting more brave by the day I guess.

This is a whole different story. I had no intentions whatsoever of bringing home these two cute little puppies, but Marcus did give me the ok to go for it. Don't quite know what got into me, but I just could not resist. So now we have 4 white German Shepard's. The Vet will know for sure now that we are crazy.
I ended the day by watching my nephew play one heck of a basketball game. That's him #15. I'm a terrible aunt because this is the first one that I have been able to attend. He even managed to give me a hug in front of all his teammates. I was impressed to say the least.

Those puppies are SO CUTE! I'm sure if I were in your shoes, I'd have found it hard to resist them. Be sure to post an update with names and how the other two doggies are dealing with the new siblings. :)

I love the Patriot Guard. When no one else comes to visit the troops at the VA hospital in Palo Alto, they are there visiting our wounded warriors! I also know they visit the other VA hospitals in the San Francisco Bay area.
